Perceptor IoT - new software release v.2.6
The development team here at Perceptor has been working its magic, bringing even more label inspection and verification features into production for our Zebra Technologies implementation and to update the TSC Auto ID Technology Printronix ODV-2 solution.
This new release of Perceptor IoT focuses on user experience and security enhancements with these headline improvements:
- OCR pattern match, blemish and barcode multi threading to improve throughput
- OCR background image cleansing - developed for booklet printing to ignore background text
- Duplicate check in-app guidance steps
- Auto user log out after configurable time period to enhance security
- Local station settings retained after Perceptor release upgrades
- Improved Perceptor disable function for better user experience
- Encrypted processing board identification to enhance security
- Removable guide plate for ease of camera cleaning to ensure consistent accuracy
